About the Writing Competition
The New Letters Publication Award in Fiction is an annual contest with a new topic each year. Stories must concern this year’s (2018) topic of CHILDREN in some way, whether implicitly or explicitly through title, setting, plot, theme, conflict, or the minds of the characters. Stories must not exceed 8,000. The winner will receive a $750 cash prize and publication in an issue of New Letters.
