Shoalhaven Literary Award

The Shoalhaven Literary Award has been presented each year since 1999. Its aims continue to be the recognition of
literary excellence and the enhancement of the image of the Shoalhaven as a place of strong cultural development.

On the odd year it is given for short stories and on the even for poetry.

The first prize is $1500 and a two-week residency at Bundanon, the Arthur Boyd complex, on the Shoalhaven River. Second prize is $250, third prize is $150. For residents of the Shoalhaven there is the Geoff Bolton Award of $200.

The Award is supported by the Bundanon Trust, Shoalhaven City Council and FAW Shoalhaven.

This year the award is for short stories and our judge is Laurie Steed.
