About the Writing Competition
Newcastle Short Story Award
Over $7000 prize pool.
Calling for up to 2000 word short stories. The theme is open.
Judges are Isabelle Li and Ryan O’Neill.
An anthology of the top 30-35 stories will be published and launched in April 2018 at the Newcastle Writers Festival.
2018 is the 4th year of the prize
The top 35 works will be published in the 2018 anthology
