Hysteria is the international womens writing competition run by the Hysterectomy Association. Now in its 6th year it features three categories: short stories up to 2000 words, poetry up to 20 lines and flash fiction up to 250 words. Cash prizes are awarded for overall category winners; a further 9 runners up in each category are also published in the annual Hysteria anthology.
